Job Description
Three people are required for a period of seven weeks to carry out a space utilisation survey across a number of office locations in the West and South West of the City of Edinburgh.
The work consists of data gathering by following a predetermined route throughout the building(s) so each location is visited several times during the day and the usage of the space recorded. This data is then added to a spreadsheet.
Over the seven week period a map can be created showing building occupancy over time and thus enable the occupier to make changes to improve continual use.
This job therefore requires someone who is available for 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday) for the period in question, is reasonably fit and happy to tour the buildings on foot, can use a smart phone, has reasonable admin skills and can engage with the building occupiers to politely explain what they are doing. No other experience is necessary.
Candidates MUST either live in the Edinburgh area with their own transport of live in the West or South West of Edinburgh city centre itself.
Rate is £14.00 including holiday pay.
These roles are often taken by students or recently retired people, but anyone who is available for the whole period and meets the other criteria is welcome to apply.
